Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
Bank Street Lodge offers a central location in Fort William, making it easy to walk to shops and restaurants, which is a definite plus for many guests. Some rooms are noted for being spacious and clean, equipped with a kettle, while others might find them a bit on the smaller side; also, a few guests have mentioned that their private bathroom was located across the hallway, which wasn't ideal. Free parking is available, though limited, and overnight parking is also free in nearby council car parks, adding to the overall convenience.

friendly staff convenient check-in water view on-site parking
This accommodation is close to the town center. the desk staff offered a friendly welcome. our triple room included a view of the water. I liked that. on-site parking proved very helpful, despite the limited number of spaces available.
The bed felt a little small for two adults. It also had a noticeably uncomfortable mattress.

adequate, but with drawbacks

public hallway hostel arrangement
i found a major inconvenience . my room did not have an en-suite bathroom. i had to walk across a public hallway to access a 'private' bathroom. this setup was far from ideal and quite disappointing.
